Garfield Street has a small collection of very good restaurants.
Pacific Lutheran University (PLU) is a private college with a pleasant, walkable campus. The architecture is a bit mixed -- there's no common theme -- and most of the outdoor art is very bland, but its wonderful to stroll the lawns, admire the tall trees, and take in some of the student life.
Lagerquist Hall at Pacific Lutheran University. What a beautiful concert hall! The room is beautiful and the acoustics are ideal for music.
